Role Description:

We are on the lookout for a seasoned, dynamic, and driven Senior Sales Executive to bolster our team. This role will be pivotal in identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with clients, and surpassing sales targets within the fast-paced logistics and supply chain industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market research to pinpoint new business opportunities and comprehend client needs
  • Proactively seek out new sales opportunities through strategic networking, industry events, and targeted outreach
  • Initiate, develop, and sustain positive business and customer relationships, with an emphasis on long-term client retention
  • Streamline sales efforts with team members across different departments for maximum efficiency and consistency
  • Consistently meet or exceed agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Provide management with comprehensive reports on customer needs, challenges, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies in the logistics and supply chain space
  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies in alignment with business goals

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven work experience as a Sales Executive, Sales Representative, or a similar role within the logistics or freight forwarding industry
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency in English; proficiency in Dutch or German is a plus
  • Expertise in client relationship management and high-level negotiation
  • Ability to build rapport and conduct business in a professional manner
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Exceptional prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus
  • Certifications in sales or marketing will be an added advantage
